REST IN PETROVAC - MONTENEGRO

 This is a very cozy town, located on the road from Budva to Bar. In our humble opinion, it takes the second place after Budva as a resort for family vacation with children.

So, the pros and cons of the rest in Petrovac:

Pros

1. Located in a beautiful private bay and surrounded by pine forests.

2. It belongs to the Budva Riviera / region, where every 10 minutes pass shuttle buses.

3. It has its own, well-developed infrastructure. All relevant places is no more than 10 minutes away by foot.

4. Suitable for families with young children.

5. Sufficient number of restaurants and cafes.

6. That is equidistant to Budva, as well as to the port of Bar (20 km.) Where you can go for shopping or just for a walk.

7. There are enough travel agencies and car rental firms.

8. There is marine taxi Petrovac-Budva.

Cons

1. The city has only 2 beaches:

-The main beach on the foreshore of the city is always crowded. During the high season you need to get place  in the morning;

-in 2-km. there is a nice beach-bay "Lucica", but there are, too, no free place later in the morning.

2. Similar problems with parking, but if you climb up to the top of the town, you can park at the bus station for fee.
